Five days into my recovery week and I'm anxious to get back in the saddle. Work has been good, but hectic, and I'm caught up on the yard, so, it's time to hit the dirt. This weekend is the Utah State MTB XC Championships at Solitude Ski Resort and I will be an active spectator. Although I feel good, I think I'm better served by finishing my rest/recovery week instead of killing myself on that climbing course from hell. Good luck out there guys.

This is when I was looking goooood at the 2006 E-100 12 hour solo event before the pain cave opened and the lights went out on me. My daughter took this pic. She has a real eye for capturing the moment. Thanks MarKay.

I guess it's time to get on the blog wagon and post my thoughts and adventures on the web. I have all these little notes laying around the house that rarely get read, stories of hikes and rides with family and friends from days long past. Keeping them organized, or just finding them is the biggest challenge. Maybe this blog thing will get me organized and be fun at the same time. If I can get my mom on the web, she can see what her seed has reaped! I'll see where this thing goes.
